Performed bare feet, Contemporary teaches the dancer to really use the ground and their core strength in this expressive style of dance. Interesting to watch, this style really strengthens and opens a dancer’s flexibility, muscle endurance and performance techniques. Entry into Contemporary Troupes is by invitation only, based upon Miss Stephanie’s judgement. All Contemporary Troupe dancers must partake in at least 1 Ballet class and 1 Body Conditioning class per week.
We also have an Open Junior Contemporary class and and Open Senior Contemporary class, open to all dancers.
